Count Graje is the solo project of Gregory Aaron, a New England–based singer‐songwriter whose music weaves together folk and rock with a deep fascination for regional folklore, haunted histories, and the landscape‘s mythic past. Through his albums on Yuggoth Records, Gregory explores abandoned archives, town records, old newspapers, and oral traditions, turning the forgotten and spectral into song.
His latest release, Eyes of Pan (2025), mythologizes New England’s historically rich past through lyrical storytelling and song. It delves into local hauntings and events that shaped the region—each track a chapter in a larger narrative. Musically, Eyes of Pan merges acoustic and organic textures (flutes, guitars, harmonica, vocals) with electric and cinematic soundscapes, weaving in orchestral touches and atmospheric production.
Count Graje’s music is as much about place as sound: haunting, grounded, and alive with echoes of what once was.
